Microfinance for Farmers and Entrepreneurs
Since 2008, Twegaite International has implemented a microfinance initiative to empower farmers and small-scale entrepreneurs in Busoga. Through the provision of low-interest loans, individuals can invest in their farms, purchase better tools, and expand their businesses. This program has been particularly beneficial to women and youth, allowing them to gain financial independence and contribute to their households.

• Impact: Over 500 farmers and small business owners have benefited from the program, leading to improved livelihoods and increased food security.

Finfort Uganda Partnership
Our latest partnership with Finfort Uganda offers affordable loans to farmers and entrepreneurs at just 5% interest. This initiative is aimed at boosting local economies by encouraging agricultural growth and business expansion.

• Impact: More people are able to access financial services that were previously out of reach, fueling local economic development.

Business Skills Workshops
In addition to financial support, we offer business development workshops to train individuals on entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and sustainable farming practices. These workshops equip participants with the skills necessary to make sound business decisions and achieve long-term success.
