Busoga & You
A study conducted by Dr. Bakama on the region, has been summarized in a series of maps grouped in subcategories. Health, Education and Water.
Conclusion of Dr Bakama’s analysis of Busoga
The maps show which districts have the least access to services and identify problems by district. For example Jinja has the highest number of orphans, and Kamuli has the least access to health, water, and education. Based on the data, it is safe to say that Busoga population is far from being "well-off". You and I, Basoga and friends of Basoga, must work on improving the conditions of the people. Individually, we have done something, collectively we can do more. Twegaite and others must strive to improve the conditions in Busoga.
